Hay que desconfiar especialmente de los que digan que son “pen tester” o “especialistas en penetracion”, el autentico profesional de la seguridad es el que defiende, no el que ataca, atacar es super facil usando las herramientas del oficio.

Aqui voy a mencionar unas cuantas herramientas de esas que van a usar los pintamonas del congreso este para impresionar a los bobos e intentar que alguna empresa los contrate:

GTA Online from Rockstar Games is a pretty mature software which is being extensively fine-tuned since 2013 by one of the best developer teams in the world. Cheating in GTA Online running on the Playstation 4 platform is no joke.

It takes some time to figure out how to make serious in-game cash without doing missions like crazy for weeks. After some research i decided cheating in the casino games was the the easiest and fastest way to get rich in GTA Online and created my own custom money generation scheme.

It took a second, much easier social-engineering operation to verify the method was safe and undetectable for the various automated anti-cheat systems implemented in the game. As usual human factor turned out to be the weakest link in the chain.

This proof-of-concept video shows a brand new player account with only some hours of use and stuffed with 20,000,000 casino chips. The chips are cashed out and spent fast. The account was not flagged for cheating in any way.

The video was made October the 10th, 2020. The T-shirt shown was unlocked for purchase that same week.

The technique used must remain a secret so this Youtube channel is not taken down. If i’m still alive when GTA Online is declared “abandonware” this video description will be updated to include the details and steps of the exploit.
